We are a group of population geneticists in the Research program of Human Evolution at Uppsala University, Sweden. Our research is using ancient DNA to obtain information from different time points in prehistory of humans and domesticated animals. Such data can be seen as a time capsule which allows to study the individuals involved in particular migrations. We are analyzing large sets of genomic data in a number of projects mostly concerned with the prehistory of Europe. Furthermore, We are interested in the development of computational methods to study demographic history and local adaptation. Please use this page to find out more about our previous and current research.
